Peej

We had a bonus, unexpected babysitting offer today which meant we could both go to the morning's preview screening of Barney's Version at The Cameo. Not a great movie , but really nice to be out and with time for lunch too. Very pleasant.

Which brings me to, apart from the obvious, one of my favourite people in the world. PJ Harvey, Polly Jean, The Peej. Have seen her live on plenty of occasions and she's never short of astonishing. I'm counting down the days to her new album (PJ-21 and counting...). The Guardian have been linking to a couple of great short films for it all week rather helpfully too.

She's provided me with the inspiration for today's blip. One of my favourite songs and one of my favourite performances as well, take your pick from Later or Glastonbury.
