Pit

Tackled one of the jobs that I've been putting off for weeks. Every time I look out of our kitchen window I see our weather-trashed sandpit outside and think "I should sort that out". Well, this afternoon it happened and I lifted out a perfect inch thick disc of ice from the waterlogged pit, a disc about two feet across with all the girls' toys frozen solid into it. Of course this would have made a great blip but trying to manoeuvre the damned thing around and sort out the camera was impossible and the background was all wrong anyway, what with ice being, you know, kinda see-through. In the end it just all smashed into the pile of ice and Disney princesses that you see before you.

Indoor listening today (AM) - this chap (I'd never heard of him a couple of years ago when he popped up supporting PJ Harvey and John Parish at the Queens Hall. Turned out to be one of the best supports I've seen for years).
