sad single stocking

This is the Christmas stocking that was hung up over our fireplace for Grandaad Alan. It is stuffed with all the things a grandad could require, a small bottle of port, a bar of chocolate, and a packet of indigestion tablets just in case........

We have just discovered it down the back of our sofa, the dilemma is this:

As it is almost a month after Christmas do i drink the drink, eat the chocolate (and sadly will have to have the Rennies as well) in case they go off before i see him again, (he lives at least 10 minutes drive away)

OR....Do i put the whole thing away and hang it up again next christmas and bank on him having forgot about the whole thing or if he remembers claim that he is confused due to his age and offer to get his medication for him.....

Or MOST LIKELY, he has stuffed it down the back of the sofa himself fed up of all the rubbish gifts that people keep forcing on him like all in one slippers or strange wheat bags that you put in a microwave and then wrap round your neck! Ever year he asks for a porsche,and every year the same old tat!!

A clear indication then he may be old, but he certainly ain't daft!!!
