Finally at Fort Mifflin

Fort Mifflin On Mud Island is a military fortress dating from the American Revolution and just across some marshes from Philadelphia's airport. I have lived only a few miles from it for almost thirty years, but unly just now decided to stop in and see what it's got. I was not disappointed: it reminded my a bit of a European castle, and because it was post-season, I had the whole place to myself!
