Frosty leaves (no swirling today)

The frost was even harder this morning and there were large crystals on most surfaces. I enjoyed a trip into the garden with tripod and macro lens, and then was spoilt for choice for a Blip (bit different from usual). I thought the frost was incredible, with the intricate structure of the crystals (not sure that is technically correct).

Here is an example of frost on the ivy on our front wall. I wanted to capture the way the sun's rays light the frost, but to avoid overexposed spots.

Good in large

Later on I took Dickie for a walk. He just loved racing around the fields, and I loved the fact that there were few animals around so he could run off the lead.
