Swirling leaves 2

What a crisp cold start to the day, and then it stayed cold. The frost showed no signs of giving in many places. It was still slippery when I went out for a walk this afternoon, so I was very careful not to fall over (again)!

I started to look at the frosted leaves on the grass and took a few images. Back at the computer I started playing with different effects and finally settled for this one. I was tempted to make it completely abstract but decided to leave a leaf (no pun intended) untouched.

I have a photo project to complete outdoors, so I hope it is not so cold tomorrow.
