Pre-cious...........

I worked hard today and I deserve it.........

Alarm went off at 6.15

Got up at about 6.45 (yes - I am on holiday!)

Got set up to spray the house with the ol' 30 Seconds ("Spray - and walk away..." - Kiwi's will understand!) but somehow it took me a whole lot longer than 30 seconds!! At least the early rise did manage to avoid any breezes.

Did the north and the east facing walls before the sun got onto them too much then headed indoors for a coffee....and so the morning went........spray.....relax.......rinse........relax........spray........relax.....etc (believe me, the pace was super slow! And I hated getting up on the ladder to do the first storey walls!)

By the afternoon I'd decided that I'd also spray the windows/doors/crevices/cracks etc with anti-spider stuff............but on thinking about it, decided that I should really clean the windows first so that any future cleaning wouldn't remove the spider treatment.

So I cleaned the windows outside.

But why stop there? The windows still looked a bit grimy from the inside so maybe I should clean them from the inside too...?

So I cleaned them from the inside.

And all this whilst keeping half an eye on the Aussie Open tennis champs.

A tough day at the office, as they say.

By the time this evening rolled around I figured I'd earned my glass of wine, though with the little I've eaten today it has gone to my head a bit ;}
