Skeletal leaf

It was a scorcher today! My thermometer read 30 degrees at around 9.30am and it was still 28 degrees at 5.30. Crazy day to decide to garden but that's what I did . . . . edges, weeding, a little planting (hope they survive!), lawns and watering. I'm amazed at how dry everthing is, especially given the enormous volume of rain we had only last month.

This skeletal leaf was found under the lemon tree which had not been tended to in far too long a time. It didn't tak elong to tidy it up though so that was good.

And talking of lemons - rainie mentioned having a G & T in her blip today and that sounded soooo much more refreshing than a wine. Thanks for the prompt rainie! Add a slice of lemon fresh from the garden and all is good world :)

Off to the market again tomorrow for another heap of smiles :)
