Day 7: Last Day at Sea
Yes, this fairly large mural was on display on our supposedly family-friendly cruise ship. When we first arrived on the ship, the onslaught of scantily clothed images was unsettling. They were in the elevator, the hallways leading to our cabin, by the pool, outside the dining areas, inside the dining areas. There was even a replica of the Michelangelo's David on display. I'm pretty sure it was some kind of theme, but it was shocking to see, especially since there were kids of all ages on the cruise as well. By this last day on the ship, I barely noticed the provocative poses, yet couldn't ignore this one. Highlights of the day were: learning to make the super cool towel animals, a chocolate buffet, taking a tour of the ship's kitchen, and our last delicious dinner aboard the Carnival Pride.
