Day 5: Nassau, Bahamas

Welcome to the Bahamas, home of the bluest waters I have ever seen. I honestly could have stared at the water all day, it was absolutely gorgeous. Apparently Nassau is a great place to buy diamonds and other gemstones at discounted prices. Unfortunately, we're not really a diamond type family, so we spent the day walking around Nassau taking in the sights and collecting free gifts with coupons we were given on the ship :) While walking along the pier, we managed to get a picture of this one legged bird! At first, I thought it was just resting like a flamingo does, but it flew off and still only had one leg. The water looks a lot darker in this picture than in other pics/in real life. Notice all the ripples in the water..yes, it was another windy day and our prospects of getting a tan on this vacation were getting dimmer and dimmer.
