Blue Saturday

It's a bit cold today.

As I was leaving the house, the thermometer was reading 1 degree F (-17 C).

Today is just a day of chores and errands. After my visit to Merrill Field yesterday I was reminded that I have not been to the Lake Hood Airport recently.

There was a contrast of colors on this cold day. The sun is still quite low to the south and even though it tried it's best to warm things up, it just wasn't happening.

It was nice to see a bit of brightness, even if it was mostly hiding behind the Kenai Mountains.

Now it's off to get some warm coffee!
