999 Emergency

Tonight's blip isn't going to be a shot of my dinner or somebody's cat or a flower. Tonight was real action and photo-journalism.

I flagged the next car that passed down for assistance, a very nice gentleman driving a red Porsche Carerra. As I phoned the ambulance, he comforted the man and found out that he had recently had a hip operation (and probably more importantly 3 or 4 pints of Guinness) and his leg had given way which is why he fell (obviously nothing to do with the 3 or 4 pints of Guinness, oh and the couple of whisky's he neglected to mention at first). Whilst we were waiting for the ambulance, the gentleman in the Porsche could see that traffic was pulling in between my car and his and so handed the keys over to me to move his car - how exciting!!

Very soon the ambulance arrived and me and Porsche bloke were thanked for our good citizenship (see Dave C, the Big Idea is catching on) and drunk hip man was carted off to be cared for.

So an evening of much-excitement, I failed to get the photo of the Porsche because the ambulance was in the way. There is a lesson to be learned though from this whole sorry tale. My bloody windows need a clean - look at the state of them!
