Crummock Water

As promised yesterday, we had a coffee at The Kirkstile Inn Loweswater, then did the four and a half hour walk up and around Mellbreak. It is a really steep climb up! Then we got into the clouds. The way back to the pub is alongside Crummock Water. In the distance on the left you can see Fleetwith Pike rising sharply up from Buttermere. On the right, in the distance, is Haystacks where Wainwright's ashes were scattered. I chose this blip because of the bright colours on Crummock Water ( the mountain photos high up were a bit lost in the mist today.) Chloe enjoyed the walk!
