Staff of Life

Well it will be when ground into flour and baked in the oven, whence it will become bread and thus the staff of life.

Waiting in for the delivery of new kitchen furniture which I mentioned last week. Couldn't leave the house and leave nobody here to receive the goods so I took a look in the number two blipbox which is actually a blipjar containing verious stalks of this and that waiting for the rainy day or the one when I am awaiting delivery of kitchen stuff. This stalk of wheat has been waiting patiently for its day in the limelight since last August.

Needless to say the delivered order was wrong! We ordered a 2metre tall kitchen larder for which I specified three doors as I reckon that it if it had only two, the weight on the hinges might be a bit much. Three doors on the docket. Guess what was on the truck? Yes, two! I sent it back. Now I have to go back to the store and argue the case with them. Fun and games.
