Red and Blue

It was one of those days when it would have been easy to be gloomy; easy to stay indoors (plenty of 'urgent' jobs to justify that idea). So we set off for Wirral, hoping that the rain would clear there first and allow us to blow away the cobwebs.
It worked. The Liverpool waterfront looked majestic as a few late afternoon sunrays pierced the gloom and could have been a blip, but my eye was caught suddenly by the juxtaposition of colours (see title) in this direction. Not a stunningly interesting shot, but it did kind of reflect the atmosphere.
