Grune Point, near Silloth on Solway.

After a wild night, the weather improved a great deal after lunch, so we drove to Silloth then walked to Grune Point. The blip is taken in the direction of Skinburness saltmarsh, with Silloth on the right hand side of the picture. Grune Point is worth looking up on the internet, or better still, visiting! Across the water, to the left, out of the picture is Anthorn. This is where 'the pips' come from on the wireless just before the news. Twitchers had seen Hen Harriers today, but we didn't spot any...
