Nondescript Saturday

This morning, H's Daddy and I made an effort to both get up early as we usually take turns at having a long lie on weekend days. We got H up and all went to Asda to do the weekly shopping. H was well behaved and because it wasn't too busy and there were 2 of us there, she got to walk round most of the store holding Daddy's hand whilst I pushed the trolley. Normally she wants to walk round when I am on my own and throws a strop when I don't let her!

Afterwards, H and Daddy dropped me at the hairdressers where I went all out for a change. I had my hair cut into a graduated bob, had a fringe cut in for the first time in 20 years, and had it coloured a vibrant shade of red.

As we had no plans for anything special, we just had lunch in the house, and H had her first hot dog. We probably have them about once every 2 years, but it popped into my head today and made a nice change (as long as I don't see what goes into them). Afternoon was a visit to Costco, stopping off at Gran and Grandpa's on the way home, then Daddy made Salmon Teriyaki for dinner and H had fun sucking up the noodles.

All in all a pretty boring, but nice Saturday.
