The first iPad

Bit of a nostaligia blip today, this is my hard-used Apple Newton, grand-daddy to the iPad/itouch/iPhone. Haven't used this since 1996, when it was velcro'd to the steering wheel boss (in the days before air-bags).

Useful little thing in its day, very very occasionally you'd meet up with someone else who owned a Newton and you'd try out the IR communications, all very anorak, but good fun!

I swapped 10 de-stocked Kodak Diconix(Mac) portable inkjet printers to get Apple to give me a Newton, as they were hard to get for a time.
