Dandelion

Had a breakfast date with K from England this morning. It was so nice to be able to share a few thoughts with you K - it hardly seems like 2 minutes since you lived here. Makes me realise just how quickly time is passing these days......

Like the thing we used to do with dandelion clocks as kids to tell the time......

Phwoof - 'one o'clock', phwoof - 'two o'clock', phwoof - three o'clock and so on until all the seeds were gone. Time disappearing before our very eyes, according to how many phwoofs we took. Nowadays the dandelion clock uses a different measure - it's the years that seem to go by with each phwoof.

This dandelion flower will be a clock soon - I think I'll steer well clear of blowing my time away with it.
