Spoils of the day.

This morning I went to one of the local auctions. I go quite frequently and for various reasons. It is a morning of pure entertainment and exciting because I never know what I am going to find. My budget is not much more than £10 and I look for all the items bundled together that nobody really wants. I have the pleasure in the afternoon of washing it all and occasionally I find a small treasure for myself. The rest I take to the Oxfam shop where it sells to make money for a good cause. Often there are some interesting and unusual items. Today a good German stein, some marquetry pictures, teacups and glassware amongst other things. My little find is the egg cup which I took a fancy to, it's in the picture. It's a fun way to make a contribution.
