'Is it safe to come out?'

Just returned from the annual trip to the vet's for booster jabs. Getting Diesel into his box is a perfected technique as is getting him out at the other end. It involves the use of gravity coupled with a bit of gentle cat handling. Then he melts onto the vet's table to become a 'puddle' of fur with eyes like saucers. Bracken paces up and down nervously. I don't know who is more traumatised by these visits, us or them! When procedures are finished the cat box is placed on the table with door open and Diesel disappears inside as if on a piece of elastic. Getting out at the home end as illustrated is a cautious affair - just to make sure all is well.
