My Whisky Barrel Cake

Today I'm having a break from my Shop Window Curios theme because I thought that this Whisky Barrel Cake I made deserved a blip, since I've spend more than a couple of days to make it. A lot of effort has been put into it and I'm very proud of it!

So, yes I've been a cooper today. I've made a cask!

This cake is for the 2nd Anniversary of my friends' whisky blog I will be attending this evening. Last year I made a cake in the shape of a whisky bottle, so I opted for something different this time.

Not much more happening today. I've spent all day cake decorating, I'll have something to eat and then I'll go out. Hope they like the cake!
