...is exactly what I think is written all over little miss Katie's face here! She'd gotten very excited when I told her we were going to see her little friends and ran around like a nutter. I couldnt pick between the photos, and like them as a set. And yes, we did mirror shots a couple of months ago but I loved these too much to not use, and couldnt believe how much more grown up she looks.

She woke up at 5.15, but I'd expected it because of her late night, it seems to be the way of it with her. She ate a good breakfast and we went out to tea and toast. I dont know what was in the water today but loads of the kids were really grumpy, so Katie spent a lot of the time playing beside me, rather than with the others.

We'd got our library books in the pram but she fell asleep so we just came home after tea and toast. We'll go tomorrow, although a friend has taken the books back for us. We're heading out to the play cafe when she gets up, to see Jack and his mum, so she'll be very excited about that too.

Out of interest, have any of you read Simplicity Parenting and if so, what were your thoughts?
