I got up and went to work. Stayed there the whole day and went home again. Nothing interesting or exciting happened, although I did have an enjoyable conversation about films and I looked at websites selling cars that may replace the one that has done 120,000 miles and seems to be wearing out.

This is St Andrews Square, spiritual home of the Royal Bank of Scotland. You know those people who are about to pay themselves colossal amounts of money which could, since RBS is publicly owned, presumably help to pay off the colossal deficit caused by their negligence but which will instead be paid by poor people - the absolutely poor and, compared with these guys, the relatively poor.
