Immature Oystercatchers

The ice was really bad this morning! Instead of heading towards Buttermere we went down to the Solway via the main roads.
Lots more pictures of Chloe swimming in the sea, but I was able to get quite close to these young Oystercatchers before they flew off ( to about 100m further along the beach. ) The sun was shining brightly, but there was a really cold wind blowing today!
