Holy Beautiful

All Saints, Okehampton, Devon - I've known this part of world for over 25 years yet it was the first time today that I visited the church. It was a beautiful place. Extensive peaceful graveyards covered in wildlife, I counted 43 chaffinches in one tree alone!

This is the fifth church to be built on the same site, the one before burned down in 1842 & rebuilt in 1844, only the tower survived the blaze & was incorporated in the current structure.

Unfortunately the church was closed & only opens during British Summertime - completely wrong in my views! Churches should be open 365 days of the year, they're places of worship & if there's a problem with theft then security measures should be put in place!
