Brick Canyon

I am reconciled that, during the winter months at least, a fair few of my blips are going to come from campus, as that's where I spend my dayight hours. The routine that's emerging is I take a 10 minute lunchtime stroll, schedule allowing, and see what catches my eye. There are plenty of different features, buildings, perspectives and vantage points to explore yet.

Today I looked up. Although we are not a 'red brick' university, we do have some brick buildings of different eras and styles, this one being an extension from the 80s or 90s. These canyons add a bit of interest. We had blue sky today for a change, so I thought I'd make the most of it.

This is probably the sort of photo which only works if it is completely symmetrical, which this isn't. I've left it as it was framed, and resisted the temptation to crop or rotate. I also tried it with and without flash, but preferred the no flash version.
