spray....

so it has been a pretty crappy day in london. overcast and the wind has been picking up steadily all day and as i type this it has just started to rain.
the effects of the wind can be seen in todays blip. it was so strong at this point that baby McD asked if it was raining as the spray from the fountains was being blown over the edge.
this miserable weather has only added to my frustration for today. off the family went to canary wharf to go to the jessops store that i had checked to make sure they had all that i wanted in stock. so far so good, until we get to the store. why certainly i could walk out of there with a new 400D and lens but no i could not get the deal i had spotted online. you see even though the store had all the items and would sell me them, they would not give out the deal unless you order it online. now this to me is fine if i was getting it delivered to my home but you order online and collect in-store. now i do not follow this logic. internet shopping i can understand being cheaper if as i said you order it online and have to wait for it to be delivered but if i am going into the store i would be collecting my goods from anyway, why can't you just give me the same deal. after all, i got off my arse to come in to your poxy store and spend my cash. you should be pleased someone ventured in.
so now i am reduced to doing what i could have done earlier today and that is the online order. which i have since found out will not be ready for collection for a few more days, even though ALL THE ITEMS ARE IN STOCK NOW. i mean really WTF! quite tempted to tell them where to stick it but it really is a good deal. so as usual the retail giants win again. F**KERS. excuse the language but i am a tad pissed off with their whole crazy setup.
so todays pic comes from my trusty old point and click cybershot. it's a great little camera and to be honest most of my weekday pics shall probably still come from this, even when the afore mentioned new camera is purchased. well at least until i move jobs into an area where i feel safe enough to produce it.

i shall go now and take my frustrations out on some computer generated badguys on the PS3.
