And so the new year truly begins.

My husband is back at work, the kids are back at school and the website for my new course is now open. No wonder it feels like today is actually the first day of the new year!

I'm starting to get a bit more enthusiastic about this course now that everything's up and running but the fact that we've been given a field guide on woodlice doesn't bode well. I suspect one of our investigations may involve burrowing in the undergrowth in search of these little creepy-crawlies - not looking forward to that! I suppose if I tell myself it'll make a great blip maybe it won't be so bad?!?
