Happy birthday!

Today is my dad's birthday! He was born on 4th January 1927 - 84 today. Much has changed. I had a look on Wikipedia to see what was going on in 1927:

- The first transatlantic phone call was made from New York City to London.
- The first long distance demonstration of television took place.
- George V was on the throne in UK. Calvin Coolidge was US president.
- Charles Lindbergh made the first solo non-stop trans-Atlantic flight in the Spirit of St Louis.
- The Ford Model T ceased production.
- The British Broadcasting Corporation was established.

Photography has changed much too. The photo in the photo was taken in Edinburgh in December 1931 and shows dad aged 4yrs and 11 months.
