Christmas is over

Our Christmas tree came down today, marking the end of Christmas and the festive period in our household!

We have taken to stripping the tree and throwing it out of the bay window, instead of dragging it through the house and out the door; it works pretty well!

Now, the tree will wait on the rubbish collection, next to the last lump of remaining ice from the 'big freeze'...until next year ;)
