Today's the day ................... to take in the sales

Set off for home today after more than two weeks away. Decided to call in at the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village on the way and see what the sales had to offer.

We should have known when we had trouble getting parked in the carpark which has room for a zillion cars - that it was a big mistake. The shops were heaving with people, fighting over the mostly rubbishy, end of line, random bits and pieces for sale. Or at least, that's how it seemed to me. Take this lot featured above, I'm sure they were cheap at the price - but do people actually wear these colours next to their skin?

On the other hand if you find yourself tempted by the bright green/pink plunge with silk and are looking for a real bargain - get yourselves along to Gretna Green. There's lots of them still available .......................!
