last day

my last day in boston, so i headed to take my free harbour cruise (part of the trolley tour deal) and thought about the aquarium, which is supposed to be excellent - but in the end i only did the cruise, as i spent ages talking to a woman on the wharf about boston, cities, green issues and all sorts. the things that happen when you travel alone, y'see...

anyway, this is old ironsides and bunker hill monument as seen from the water - never visited the ship, tho S and I have been up bunker hill on a previous trip to the city with another friend. there's always something to see even when you visit a place you've been to before, esp when it's boston and you only ever go for three or four days!

somehow felt rather flat without S today - i spend so much time alone that i need to tune into being with someone else, but then when they are no longer there it seems strange. ah well. been a good trip, recharged the batteries for the next whatever back home!
