Happy New Year!!!

A relaxed and very pleasant evening with two good friends - we ate, chatted, drank and ended up by lighting some paper lanterns. It was a still and dark night and they looked so magical as they floated off.

Leisurely day but we did do a walk - muddy and damp but passed some veer interesting buildings and not another person for miles. Inspired by my new book Abandoned Mansion of Ireland I can feel a series about old and neglected buildings coming on - watch this space.
