New beginnings

A road to nowhere or entrance to somewhere new and magical?? You choose! I saw this rather bizarre but very attractive old door when I was having a little investigation re another old building and got sidetracked - somehow it seems very suitable for New Year's Eve - portals, doorways, rabbit holes, you name it!

We are having supper with friends tonight - a bit of a pot luck thing all round as they are not feeling too brilliant, but the nut roast is de-freezing as we speak so all will be well!! And we have Cava and magic lanterns - a wild night is ensured!!

it is also our wedding anniversary, there is a very hilarious photo of the occasion here - as you can see it was some time ago,and we managed to cause a lot of chaos!! Today's anniversary is apparently Opal!! Himself gave me a very pretty pair of earrings which I am now wearing. His gift is on its way courtesy of Amazon - I won't say what it is as he reads this (oh yes you do!!!).
