Provisions

Lazy day of bits and bobs, including some jazz and soup making. The soup was carrot and forgot-to-use-them-on-Christmas-day fresh herbs, the jazz was this Blue Note beauty.

Afternoon and evening round at friends'. I've admired their what can only be described as a mechanical French shopping list hanging on their wall for some time now. Not sure if it's a tradition whereby everyone in France has one in their home, but I think I'll stick to pen and paper for now. Bit more portable down the aisles in Sainsbury's and Rocamadour's a long way to go to track one down. Lovely thing though and I will go to sleep dreaming of moutarde and fromage tonight no doubt.
