Staring at Starlings
Today we trooped into Chichester for a family day out. Toddler fell asleep on the way to the station so she missed the fun of the train journey there. This was actually quite lucky as it meant she also missed the train doors shutting on the buggy at Fratton due to the usual customer care they offer there.
Once there, again I found very little in the sales to make me want to purchase. However it was nice to have a wander round and a bite to eat. Toddlers sleep clearly gave her some recharge and a trip to Lakeland seemed to set her off as when I arrived to meet everyone there I could hear her excitment up on the second floor.
It seemed that her internal chatterbox had come out and she just couldn't stop. It was very nice to see her being so confident out and about and she was being very, very funny.
On the way back to the station Wife spotted a flock of Starlings presumable getting ready to go somewhere, making shapes in the sky. Most people seem to miss them overhead as they carry on with life, however they are an incredible sight so we just to stop and watch.
We then waited for the train, Grandpa dropped his Pringles and Toddler jumped on them still full of beans. The chatterbox continued on until bedtime.
