My 10th anniversary as a mum

Because it is all about me : )

Today my son turned 10 years old and I can't help but taking a moment to recall the day. After a great pregnancy, a painful but semi-smooth birth, there was my little precious baby.

I said to someone today that I never intended to become a mother, but then the clock was ticking, my man came into my life, my home country changed and now 10 years of being a mum, I would not have it any other way!

My children have given me a reality check and the best (and awefully honest!) mirror to my own soul I could wish for. The unconditional love, the simple joy in being, the first time being called mummy, I could go on and on but in a nutshell: I am celebrating life.
