Today was not so toastie.....

......and the dad and oldest went fishing again. This time I was optimistic and cooked potatoes as they left with the intension to eat fish pie! And, guess what? THey came home with 5 fish! We are still not entirely sure which fish they were (sorry) but they made a great fish pie so I am not fuzzed.

As L. and I stayed home, we just relaxed reading and having a chat every so often. Then we needed to eat and decided to make cheese toaties, nothing fancy but L. got so excited to help that he decided this recipe needed to be written down for future reference. As he wrote down step by step what to do with great detail and clear instructions, we took some photos as this will become his first recipe book! Who knows! Love those days where you get to hang out and enjoy each others company!
