Brown Bird

Yeah I know, another brown bird but in this case brown just doesn't describe what a lovely bird this is. It is a Female Reed Bunting and it is on the Amber List because like so many other birds it has lost much of it's habitat. As a result they are now quite often seen in gardens and luckily for me I've had several visiting this year. Gladders who has an excellent journal tells me that he had Reed Buntings visiting his garden in the past, as he lives is Cumbria and I live in Bedfordshire this behavior seem quite widespread. This is the more distinctively marked Male bird, which I have blipped before.
