Back in the summer my compact camera had a bit of an experience with some lions whilst on a game reserve in South Africa. It had fallen out the pocket of my fleece while I was taking photos with my DSLR.

I have finally put an order in today for a new compact camera. The one you see above... The FujiFilm Fine Pix F80. It gets a good write up for it's performance underwater! So will be great when scuba diving (once I have the housing... hopefully in a couple of weeks when I'm back at work).

Just have to wait for it to arrive...

Have really missed having a compact for the occasions when the DSLR is too big and the iphone doesn't come close to measuring up!
