A fortuitous gift...

This is the engraving on the staff my dear friend Phoenix made.

It was not technically made for me, but a series of fortuitous circumstances found it in my possession. It was made over a year before I met him, for someone who never picked it up. Being an Aquarius is something close to my identity.

It, typically, stands near my altar and I use it during ritual.

Tonight, however, I hold it close to me, along with several other objects that bring me peace and a small amount of tranquility. I need it's amazing energy.

Tomorrow morning I am having an MRI taken of my brain to check for problems. I have symptoms that suggest some sort of electrical short...

So tonight I am doing whatever I can to keep myself in a non-panic state.

I had taken pictures of a few other things, but this staff just called to me.

One of the standout characteristics of those born under the Sun Sign of Aquarius is their unwillingness to follow the beaten track. Aquarians need space and value personal freedom. Any attempt to box them in will likely fail. They'll happily return the favor; and they will treat people from all walks of life as equals. Equality and fairness are hallmarks of the sign. If you're quirky and "different", all the better.
