Ice Sculpture Unlit.

It wasn't very cold tonight (-9) and my usual Saturday night dinner with Nick0451 and Shadymoon was cancelled so I decided to walk home and see if I could get a picture of the large wall lit up before a bizzilion people were around it when the park opens. I stopped along the way to take a few pics of some of the smaller sculptures and wasted about 15 minutes. They haven't been lit up yet so I thought I might be able to get a good blip in before that happens. They look completely different lit up and some of the lighting leaves them a little iffy.

Soooo.... when I got to the big wall it was lit up... for 10 seconds.. I was 5 minutes late. WAAAAAaaaaaaa. So at least I get to use one of the other ones I took.. The big wall will be there tomorrow.

While (or if) I have your attention, does anyone have any ideas about how we can get better quality pics of the sculptues? There is a lot more detail in them than shows in the pictures. Either with actually taking the pictures.. or with PS after the event. Any hints would be very welcome.. Always looking to learn new stuff.
