Sheep get all the best views

Sledging with Conor today. Finally, finally, he got the point (sit on sledge, point sledge downhill, shout "weeeeeeee" then "aaaaaaargh" and crash land at bottom of hill). Previous sledging outings had involved a lot of Conor rolling in the snow, and pulling the sledge around pretending it was a dog. Happily, as we're hoping to go skiing in a few weeks, he seems to have 'got' the speed-is-good-and-being-out-of-control-is-slightly-exciting thing.

These sheep were mostly ignoring their hay breakfast in favour of staring at us.

Lovely relaxing day at home, with a rejuvinating walk up the hill before making a roast lamb dinner. My last attempt to cook a roast dinner on Mam's Aga did not go well. This time, my co-chef was not Mr B, but rather my Mam - who is wise in the ways of the Aga. So, despite a slight hitch which resulted in the roast potatoes being crispier* than intended, all went well.

*Yes, I do mean a bit burnt.
