Xmas Day

Fun and games at my Sister and Brother-in-Law's house. Quite a full house of 14 people, but exaggerated by the presence of 3 hyper children. Presents were exchanged, games were played, children were swung round by various limbs and a wide and varied selection of cocktails were consumed.

The dinner I made at Jen's mum's before we headed down out was a bit of a disaster, not in taste but my coordination of temperatures was very poor, largely due to trying to cook in a strange place (not that it's a strange kitchen, perhaps unfamiliar would be a better word).

This represents my first opportunity to experiment and familiarise myself with my new camera. I'm especially impressed with the ability to take handheld indoor pictures without a flash using a combination of high ISO and image stabilisation.
