Christmas bliss

Blueberry scone perfection this morning thanks to a lovely gift from Uncle Knute and Aunt Pennie.

Lovely morning, but unfortunately we had to cut our visit to NC short due to the snowstorm making its way up the east coast. We left early this afternoon and drove in light snow most of the way home. But we made it safe and sound (thank you M for being a responsible and wonderful chauffeur!!) about 6 hours later. Hopefully we can zip out for groceries tomorrow morning before Snow Part II arrives.
