Helmeted Guineafowl (Numida meleagris)

This one is for Z! They are só beautiful this time of year, and shows off só well in the lush green grass! My dear son-in-law loves guineafowl as well as green fields like this!! ;-)

Wonder if their family's flight might have been cancelled due to snow on the airports as well? Seems odd to see the two of them on their own, and that on Christmas Day, to top it all!! Hehehehe!!! They were wandering around in the complex, just past the last house, towards the back gate! No family or friends in sight!! I usually see a flock of between twenty or thirty of them here!!
