Some Christmas light to cheer us

I just want to thank all for yesterday's comments. Today I was deflated, but needed to press on with a few tasks before Christmas.

When Helena got home we had a bowl of soup, and suddenly the sun was shining. What a delight after days and days of overcast skies since the snow started falling.

The birds seemed more lively, despite it being increasingly cold. I nipped out to the garden and took this picture looking towards Butterrowon the right, Bownham and Minchinhampton Common farthest away on the other side of the valley.

I thought you might like a simple shot of the sky, the sun setting and the Golden Valley.
