Munich

Flew with Lufthansa to Munich, arriving there just after lunch. Dumped our bag at the lovely 5* hotel we'd booked and headed out to visit the Christmas market for the first time. Soon gravitated towards the huge Hofbrauhaus for steins of beer and plates of sausage. It was dark by the time we left so we headed back to the hotel via the Christmas markets again, having a few mugs of hot spiced wine and yet more sausage. All topped off with a glass of wine in the swanky hotel bar.
