Welcome, oh Sun!
On my Yule altar, seen here, I placed a yellow candle.
This candle is meant to represent the sun as it returns to us. Yule celebrates the longest night of the year and the shortest day. Until yesterday, the days were getting shorter, the sun spending less and less time with us.
Today was the first day where the sun begins to spend more time in the sky.
The yellow candle representing the sun was center on my altar and melted in the weirdest shape.
Almost like the fires of life rising from below.
Enjoy!
